FIFA 19 eSports – eWorld Cup Grand Final: Group A Preview

The 2019 FIFA eWorld Cup gets underway at the 02 Arena on Friday, featuring the best players FIFA eSports has to offer. With a record $500,000 prize pool, this is set to be the biggest FIFA eSports tournament in history. Leading up to the event, we’re focusing on the four groups of eight players that make up the first stage of the competition and taking a look at what each player will bring to the FIFA eWorld Cup.

We’re starting with Group A, which will be contested on the Xbox One and features a number of players with FIFA 19 titles under their belts. It goes without saying that the most well-known face within group A is seven-time FIFA 19 champion F2Tekkz, who ended the regular season first in the Xbox One Global Series Rankings leaderboard. Tekkz may be the overwhelming favourite to top the group, however he’s set to face stiff competition from Rebel Stokes, the man who beat the 18-yeat-old to win the Xbox One Global Series Playoffs. Also competing in group A are the likes of Virtual Bundesliga winner MegaBit, and the ever consistent Brazilian M10 Resende.
