Emma Raducanu vs Jessica Pegula Prediction

Up until the Miami Open, it had been a barren 2025 for Emma Raducanu, who had won just three of her nine Singles matches. However, the Brit has found some form from somewhere as she has reached the last eight of the 1000-rated event for the first time in her career.

The former US Open champion has defeated three Americans so far this week, including seeds Emma Navarro and Amanda Anisimova, and has visibly grown in confidence with each victory.

Fourth-seed Jessica Pegula, Miami Open champion in 2023, moved into the last eight after in impressive 6-2, 6-3 triumph over Marta Kostyuk on Monday. The American won an eye-catching 90% of points behind her second serve in that contest as she largely dominated the match.

That statistic in particular shows that her game is in good shape. Already a title winner in 2025 having gone all the way at the ATX Open in the beginning of March, Pegula is the favourite here but Raducanu, should she produce the same level that she displayed against Anisimova, can make this a competitive affair that is likely to go to a third set.
