Elina Svitolina vs Iga Swiatek Prediction

Just over a year after they last did battle in a WTA tournament, Elina Svitolina and Iga Swiatek are set to lock horns once again. Swiatek was the winner back then, triumphing in Dubai 6-1, 6-4. The Polish star has looked very good so far in Miami, winning both her games in straight sets, but faces dangerous opposition here.

Svitolina has already knocked out one higher seed in Karolina Muchova, doing so in a three-set encounter. How much that win took out of the Ukrainian remains to be seen, with Swiatek extremely energetic who will make Svitolina work for every point. She is a prime candidate to go all the way in this competition.

In the end, Swiatek is expected to wind up too good for Svitolina and it’s well worth backing her not only to claim victory, but to do so without dropping a set once again.
