Elena Rybakina vs Mirra Andreeva Prediction

A regular in the latter stages of events this year, Elena Rybakina moved into the round of 16 courtesy of a straight-sets win over Katie Boulter on Sunday. The seventh seed won 85% of her points behind her first serve and hit six aces along the way.

Rybakina has now won 11 of her last 12 matches at the Indian Wells Open. Absent last year, she was champion in 2023 and reached the quarter-finals in 2022.

Ninth-seed Mirra Andeeva dropped just three games in her straight-sets win over Clara Tauson in the third round and looks full of confidence having won the 1000-rated Dubai Tennis Championships in February.

It was during that Dubai run that Andreeva last faced off against Rybakina, with the 17-year-old winning a pulsating semi-final in three sets. If this encounter is to play out in the same manner, then we can expect another high-quality, three-set match.
