Elena-Gabriela Ruse vs Camilla Rosatello prediction

Elena-Gabriela Ruse recovered from a set down to defeat Elsa Jacquemot 1-6 6-1 6-4 and make it through to the next round in Rouen. She made a poor start to the match, but her serve improved as the match progressed and she only had to save break points in one game across the next two sets to advance.

She now takes on Camilla Rosatello who picked up a fine victory with a fine 6-2 6-3 win over Alycia Parks. The Italian was clutch during the important points of the match, saving all eight of the break points she conceded on her serve. 

She was potent when it came to taking the break point opportunities of her own, winning four of the five points on offer. That was just her third level tour win, but she will take plenty of confidence with her after such a morale-boosting victory.

They have played once before at the Palmero Open in July 2021, with Ruse thrashing her opponent 6-1 6-0. We don’t think it will be quite as dominant a score line, but we do think the Romanian is good value for a straight sets win.
