It sets up an 11th showdown between two players who were clear underdogs in their side of the draw and it looks utterly unpredictable with the head-to-head level at 5-5. 

Ostapenko has won their last three encounters dropping just one set, although Alexandrova has won their previous two meetings on clay. 

The Latvian remains a streaky player and could well prevail again if she can red-line at the key moments. Alexandrova will be full of confidence and will look to stay solid and take fewer risks meaning the smart money is on this contest going the distance.
