Eintracht Frankfurt Preview: High flying Frankfurt
Eintracht Frankfurt have enjoyed and endured an up and down few years but remain an upwardly mobile and well run club. With a few stars making their reputations grow further this season, such as joint Bundesliga top scorer Omar Marmoush, they sit tucked inside the top four and the UEFA Champions League spots after their opening ten matches.
The home team come into this one on the back of a thrilling and entertaining 3-2 defeat of Stuttgart a couple of weeks ago thanks to goals from Hugo Ekitike, Nathanael Brown and the aforementioned Marmoush. That means they have won five and drawn one of their last six matches across all competitions since losing away to defending champions Bayer Leverkusen last month.
Werder Bremen Preview: Entertaining Werder
Werder Bremen come into this one on the back of a 2-1 defeat of struggling Holstein Kiel in their most recent outing at Weserstadion a couple of weeks ago thanks to goals from Jens Stage and Scotland international Oli Burke. That leaves them sitting just about tucked inside the top-half of the Bundesliga table.
They have endured a difficult start to the campaign with four victories, three draws and three defeats in their opening ten matches of the campaign but they have been entertaining to watch with those ten games producing 31 goals thus far. Werder remain coached by Ole Werner who took charge in 2021 after previously being in a variety of roles at Holstein Kiel for 15 years.
