That means they have won five and drawn one of their last six matches across all competitions since losing away to defending champions Bayer Leverkusen last month.
Werder Bremen Preview: Entertaining Werder
Werder Bremen come into this one on the back of a 2-1 defeat of struggling Holstein Kiel in their most recent outing at Weserstadion a couple of weeks ago thanks to goals from Jens Stage and Scotland international Oli Burke. That leaves them sitting just about tucked inside the top-half of the Bundesliga table.
