Dusan Lajovic vs Flavio Cobolli prediction

Dusan Lajvoic began his clay court season with a semi-final appearance at a Challenger event in Girona, but struggled at the subsequent event in Bucharest, losing in straight sets to Chris O’Connell in the first round.

However, he did qualify for this event with two fine results, first beating Alexander Bubilk and then Chile Open winner Laslo Djere in straight sets.

He will face a tough match against Flavio Cobolli, who overcame his poor start to the season with a win at the Bucharest Open. The Italian breezed past Damir Dzumhur in the semi-finals before beating top seed Sebastian Baez in straight sets to win his first ATP title. He dropped just one set during the entire tournament.

Lajovic does lead the head-to-head 1-0 after a victory on clay at the Croatia Open last year, but Cobolli’s confidence will be high after winning his first event on the tour, and we’re backing him to continue his winning run.
