DR Congo vs Ethiopia Prediction

After reaching the semi-finals of the 2023 CAF Africa Cup of Nations earlier this year, the Democratic Republic of Congo have continued their general improvement.

Nicknamed ‘the Leopards’, Congo DR have won four and suffered one defeat in their opening five matches but they come into this one on the back of a slender 1-0 loss to Guinea the other day thanks to a second-half stoppage-time winner from Serhou Guirassy.

Ethiopia, on the other hand, have collected just one point from their five matches during this campaign and they have been eliminated. Their most recent outing saw them suffer a comfortable 2-0 loss to Tanzania in Kinshasa the other day.

This one does appear to be a bit of a mis-match and that loss to Guinea the other day will irritate the hosts so a comfortable home win and a reaction is to be expected.
