Dirk van Duijvenbode vs Madars Razma Prediction

A multiple Latvian national champion, Madars Razma is set to make his sixth appearance at the Alexandra Palace after having reached the third round for the first time ever last year. The draw has not been kind to him though, with Dirk van Duijvenbode heading to London looking to put behind the disappointment of last year when he was knocked out at this stage for the first time ever by outsider Boris Krcmar.

Dirk’s doubles can often be a problem for him and allow opponents opportunities they otherwise wouldn’t have. The Dutchman cannot allow that to happen here and must show a high level of ruthlessness on the oche.

Despite averaging less than Christian Kist in the first-round, Razman defeated him 3-1 in a match that will be remembered for Kist’s nine-dart finish. Dirk van Duijvenbode is unlikely to be so forgiving in clutch situations and should do enough to come out the right end of this battle.
