Derby vs Luton prediction

Following the appointment of Blackburn Rovers boss John Eustace in mid-March, Derby County have enjoyed an improved run of form of late. They have battened down the hatches defensively but are now winless in three matches after they shared a 2-2 draw with fellow strugglers Portsmouth at Fratton Park last weekend.

Luton Town, who were relegated from the Premier League last season, swapped out Rob Edwards for Matt Bloomfield a couple of months ago but the latter couldn’t turn things around immediately. However, the Hatters have since shown some signs of improvement of late, albeit they suffered a 1-0 defeat to Blackburn Rovers at Kenilworth Road last week.

This is expected to be a tense and nervy encounter at Pride Park with neither side wanting to give the other an advantage ahead of the final few games so a low-scoring affair is likely.
