Delhi Capitals vs UP Warriorz Expert Prediction

Delhi Capitals kept their composure in a tense run chase of 167 with the vastly experienced Meg Lanning playing a critical hand of 69 from 49 deliveries. UP Warriorz fought hard and battled right to the death, but couldn’t prevent the Capitals from getting over the line, which meant their losing start to the 2025 WPL continued.

Three days later and these two teams will mix it up once again, with Delhi again being arguably better placed to succeed. Don’t write off UP Warriorz though, they are getting better by the game and should at some point soon get that all-important first victory. However, it can be hard to break out of a losing habit and Delhi are better placed to get over the line in that regard.

With the likes of Lanning, Anabel Sutherland, Shikha Pandey and Shafali Verma among their ranks, back the Capitals to record back-to-back triumphs over Deepti Sharma’s side and make it three wins in four games so far this season.
