Beau Greaves’ Alexandra Palace debut is a highly anticipated one given the hype around her and the manner in which she has dominated the women’s game this year. Aiming to follow in Fallon Sherrock’s footsteps on the biggest stage in darts, Greaves sensationally won all eight of the Women’s Series events she entered this year, notably averaging 107.86 against the aforementioned Sherrock in one of the finals. Her opponent, William O’Connor, is no pushover though, and has enjoyed some success in TV tournaments this year. He reached the semi-finals of the UK Open in March, and the final of the Hungarian Darts Trophy in September. There could be fireworks here, and whichever way it goes, a match containing over 3.5 legs looks on the cards.
