Two-time world champion Peter Wright can count himself somewhat fortunate to have been included in the Premier League line-up this year given that, aside from winning the European Championship in October, he was generally poor throughout 2023. His ability to entertain the crowd no doubt played a role in his inclusion, but he has rarely played his best darts in the Premier League. Snakebite has failed to reach the playoffs in eight of his ten appearances in the competition, and finished bottom of the table last year.
Rob Cross, on the other hand, returns to the event for the first time since 2021, and deservedly so given his consistency over the last year. Voltage is the clear favourite based on recent form, and is worth backing with a handicap.
