Jonny Clayton took a huge step towards finishing top of the table by seeing off compatriot Gerwyn Price in the quarter-final, although in truth The Ferret never really had to get out of second gear and there is clearly plenty more in the tank from him tonight. Michael Smith, meanwhile, kept alive his hopes of a late playoff push by seeing off Michael van Gerwen in a deciding leg, although he was somewhat fortunate to progress. Clayton is unlikely to give him many chances here and is the clear favourite, with the Welshman expected to progress to the final.
