THE PREDICTION

Jonny Clayton – one of the pre-tournament favourites – came through an almighty tussle with young star Keane Barry in the second round and had to average 103.70 in his come-from-behind 3-2 win but that will only serve him in good stead ahead of this clash with Gabriel Clemens. The German was never really pushed in his victory over Lewy Williams last time out but he didn’t play to a standard that will strike fear into Clayton and it is difficult to look past a fairly comfortable third-round victory for the Welshman.
