Gerwyn Price was last in action all the way back on the opening evening of the PDC World Darts Championship so he’s had a long time to wait for this third-round encounter with Kim Huybrechts. The defending champion had to dig deep in his opener as he came from a set behind but he ended the contest with an average of 101.28 and he remains the favourite to go all the way once more at Ally Pally. Kim Huybrechts will need to significantly raise his game compared to how he performed against Steve Beaton here if he is to have any chance here, but it is difficult to imagine Price slipping up now that the format is longer. This could well be a fiery match between two aggressive players, but it is one which Price should prevail from.
