Rapid Ricky Evans makes his first televised appearance since an impressive run to the fifth round of the UK Open in March and he is certainly no stranger to Ally Pally with this being his seventh appearance at the PDC World Darts Championship, with his last two appearances seeing him lose to Michael van Gerwen in the third round. Nitin Kumar, meanwhile, came through the Indian qualifier for the third time in his career but he has been easily beaten in the first round on both previous appearances and the gulf in class here should see Evans record a relatively straightforward victory.
