Despite posting the highest average of the tournament so far (108.48), Portuguese debutant Jose de Sousa could do little to stop nine-dart hero Jonny Clayton in his tracks on Wednesday as he succumbed to a 7-3 defeat but he will surely take plenty of positives from that performance and will not be too disheartened heading into this clash with Nathan Aspinall. De Sousa is still waiting for his first Premier League win though, and the longer he goes without that, the more the pressure will increase. Aspinall has consistently averaged in the high 90s across his three matches and is likely to do so again here but De Sousa, despite defeat, showed on Wednesday what he is capable of and he could be worth backing to claim his first win here.
