Former PDC World Champion Rob Cross would have hoped for a more favourable draw as he aims to improve on his second round exit against Kim Huybrechts a year ago but Voltage has been given a very difficult tie against World Grand Prix finalist Dirk van Duijvenbode. The Dutchman has been in the best form of his career in the last few months and it would not be considered an upset if the seeded player were to lose this game. Van Duijvenbode has shown plenty to suggest that he can rise to the challenge and claim a win against the former champ on the Alexandra Palace stage.
