Danny Barlow: Unbeaten Barlow aiming to remain 100%
Danny Barlow (9-0) is on the rise and after getting his shot in the UFC via Dana White’s Contender Series, he is looking to make it three wins from three in the Octagon. Barlow comes off a split decision win over Nikolay Veretennikov back in August which was arguably his toughest fight to date. He now looks to follow that up against another grad from the Contender Series.
Sam Patterson: Englishman targeting third successive win in Octagon
Sam Patterson (12-2-1) has transitioned to life in the UFC after a tough debut back a UFC 286. He fought on the Edwards vs Usman 3 card in March 2023 and was knocked out by Yanal Ashmouz but he has responded well to that winning his last two. He submitted both Yohan Lainesse at UFC 297 and then Kiefer Crosbie at UFC 304 which have boosted his confidence as he looks to make his mark in the division.

This is a really good bout in the welterweight division as Danny Barlow and Sam Patterson face each other in a really interesting clash of styles.
Barlow is an excellent striker with knockout power and he will be looking to get the stoppage right from the first bell.
Patterson on the other hand will be looking for opportunities to get this fight to the ground and use his strong submission skills to get the win.
He is going to have to take some risks to try get Barlow down and that will not be easy. Barlow is strong, will be confident in his takedown defence and will fancy his chances of catching Patterson with his power.
Patterson has shown that his chin can be a little vulnerable with both losses coming via knockout and we fear this may be number three against the dangerous Barlow.
