Daniil Medvedev vs Jan-Lennard Struff Prediction

Daniil Medvedev managed to come through a potential banana skin against Frenchman Pierre-Hugues Herbert in the round of 16 as he eased to a 6-2 6-4 victory.

That was much-needed for the 29-year-old Russian who has had a poor start by his standards to 2025 and now he will be looking to kick on once again.

He now meets Jan-Lennard Struff in the quarter-finals and he will fancy his chances. The pair have met seven times previously and Medvedev has won six of them so this may be a kind draw for Medvedev.

Struff needed three sets to get past Hugo Grenier on Thursday and he will have to raise his game if he is to have any chance of beating Medvedev. We do not see that happening however and Medvedev should be capable of getting through this one and in straight sets.
