Daniil Medvedev vs Jan-Lennard Struff Prediction

Daniil Medvedev looked like he was getting into some kind of form in Doha last week as he beat Karen Khachanov and Zizou Bergs but illness forced him to withdraw from his quarter-final after losing the first set to Felix Auger-Aliassime.

He returns to action in Dubai against Jan-Lennard Struff who he has an excellent record against. The pair have met eight times previously and Medvedev has won seven of those meetings including one in Marseille a couple of weeks ago.

Struff has won three of his eight matches so far this year but all three have come against lowly-ranked players. He is typically found wanting against fellow top-50 players and that will surely happen once again here. Expect Medvedev to win in straight sets.
