Daniil Medvedev vs Hamad Medjedovic Prediction

Daniil Medvedev is clearly fired up this week to find some form after a couple of shock losses in recent tournaments and he is showing some signs of getting back to a decent level.

The top seed in Marseille has been assisted by a relatively kind draw and he comes off a comfortable win over Jan-Lennard Struff on Friday. He will fancy his chances here as he faces Serb Hamad Medjedovic in the second semi-final.

The 21-year-old Serb is enjoying an excellent week so far as after beating Karen Khachanov, he won a three-setter against Daniel Altmaier on Friday. 

This will be a fair test for Medjedovic however and Medvedev can take comfort from the fact that he beat the Serb in Rome, albeit on clay, last year.

Medvedev has to win here and it is hard to see any surprises. There is always the risk with the big Russian that he just does not click into gear but he seems super focused right now and we fancy him to progress to the final.
