Daniel Evans vs Karen Khachanov Prediction

Dan Evans makes his first appearance in a main draw of an ATP Tour tournament after struggling in qualifiers and otherwise playing in Challenger tournaments. His form has not been great so far so will be hoping to see an upturn and that playing at this level will inspire him.

He can take some confidence from his previous meetings with opponent Karne Khachanov. He has incredibly won all five meetings including their clash at the US Open last year when Khachanov was playing well and Evans managed to beat him in five.

He may be catching Khachanov at a good time once again as he has lost in his opening match in the last two events. The Russian ended 2024 on fire but has yet to really get going so far this year.

He has however been playing a high-calibre of opponent and he will be keen to avenge these losses to Evans. If ever there was a chance of beating Evans, this is it and we would expect Khachanov to get the victory here.
