Damir Dzumhur vs Mattia Bellucci prediction

Mattia Bellucci will be aiming to kick-start his clay swing after failing to make it through qualifying in Monte Carlo and Barcelona.

The Italian reached the quarter-finals in Marrakesh and enjoyed a stand-out run to the semi-finals on the hard courts of  Rotterdam to pave the way to a career-high ranking of 66 in the world. 

The 23-year-old will now face Damir Dzumhur who has also spent a fair bit of time on the dirt in recent weeks. 

The Bosnian made the last four in Bucharest with the 32-year-old former world number 23 heading in the right direction again in the rankings. 

Bellucci did win their only previous clash 6-2 6-1 which was on clay in Cordenons three years ago, and he’s a better player now, so it suggests he could come up trumps again here.
