Crystal Palace vs Brentford Prediction
Crystal Palace have put together an excellent run of form and are in a comfortable mid-table position following a run of just one defeat in their last 11 Premier League games, including wins in their last two contests against Leicester and West Ham.
Supported by attacking talents Eberechi Eze and Ismaila Sarr, Jean-Philippe Mateta is enjoying life at Selhurst Park right now with the striker having scored four goals in his last three appearances.
Despite the fact they are a point ahead of Palace in the league standings, Brentford are not in their best moment right now having won just one of their last nine games in all competitions. Having said that, their last two fixtures were against Man City and Liverpool; they fought back for a late draw against City while only an injury-time Darwin Nunez double prevented them taking a point from the league leaders.
The Bees' tricky fixture run can certainly be blamed in part for their drop-off in results, and Thomas Frank will be banking on a positive result here against a mid-table rival. Both sides possess attacking talent capable of winning the game but a draw could ultimately be the outcome between two well-matched teams.
