Cronulla Sharks vs Canterbury Bulldogs Prediction

The final match on Saturday in the NRL is arguably the best game of the weekend as the Cronulla Sharks take on the Canterbury Bulldogs in what should be a high-quality encounter.

The Sharks lost their opening match in the NRL this season to the Panthers in Las Vegas but they returned to Australia and quickly hit form as they comprehensively beat the Cowboys and the Rabbitohs to rack up consecutive victories. The squad is also boosted by the return of prop Toby Rudolf who is available to play for the first time this season and that will only add to their strength and depth.

The Bulldogs come into this match with plenty of momentum having reeled off three consecutive wins over the Dragons, Titans and Eels. The squad is pretty settled and they have named an unchanged 17 for what is arguably their hardest match of the season so far.

The visitors have a poor record against the Sharks and they have not won at the Shark Stadium since 2011. The Sharks have also won six of their last seven matches against the Bulldogs and we think they can extend that strong run and inflict the Bulldogs’ first loss of the 2025 campaign.
