SOUTHERN BRAVE MEN FORM: BRAVE AIMING TO MAINTAIN 100% HOME RECORD
Southern Brave’s elite bowling attack could not contain the sheer power and class of Harry Brook and Nicholas Pooran, who helped Northern Superchargers down James Vince’s side most recently. Jofra Archer impressed as always, but was afforded precious little help.

Manchester Originals managed to snatch defeat from the jaws of victory against Welsh Fire, after needing just two runs to win from the final two balls of the match. A run out was followed by Max Holden top edging to deep fine leg to seal a Welsh Fire heist and leave Manchester still without a point.
SOUTHERN BRAVE MEN BETTING ANALYSIS
It would remiss not to start with Jofra Archer after another hugely impressive performance last time out at Headingley. The England star’s economy rate is excellent and now it’s about him adding more wickets to his tally after picking up one scalp in each of Southern Brave’s first two matches. But Archer is well worth backing to record over 1.5 match wickets via the ‘Bowler Match Wickets’ market.
Experienced West Indian and former ICC T20 World Cup winner Kieron Pollard swung his meaty bat to great effect against the Superchargers, hitting three sixes in a score of 37 down the order. Pollard could play as a floating batter across the tournament for the Brave, coming up the order when required to step on the accelerator. With that in mind, explore backing him to score over 0.5 match sixes for the second game running here.
MANCHESTER ORIGINALS MEN BETTING ANALYSIS
It remains to be seen if the ball is likely to spin at the Utilita Bowl but if it does, then Tom Hartley could be afforded plenty of joy on the back of his three-wicket-haul, albeit in a losing effort against Trent Rockets. Hartley will be desperate to send a message to anyone watching within the England set up and it’s well worth placing a stake on him to gain 2+ wickets again on this occasion.
Phil Salt improved on his second ball duck against Welsh Fire with 16 vs the Rockets. Salt’s knock was cut off prematurely by Sam Cook but he looked ominous across his stay at the crease and it’s only a matter of time before he goes big. Consider backing him to do so here with a score of 30+ runs.

To have lost in such agonising fashion last Monday will have really had a rough effect on Manchester Originals and recovering psychologically could well prove a challenge. In this form of cricket, a bad start to the tournament can quickly spiral out of control and the Originals are in real danger of that occurring with them here in 2024.
Southern Brave must respond strongly to being taken apart by Brook and Pooran of the Superchargers and playing at home provides the perfect opportunity to them to do just that. Back the hosts to get themselves back in the winners’ column with a second Utilita Bowl win of the competition so far.
