- Oval Invincibles got themselves back to winning ways last time out, beating Birmingham Phoenix by eight wickets after successfully chasing down 130 runs to win with three balls remaining.
- Having impressed with the bat so far in the competition, South African Dane van Niekerk moved up the order to open alongside Georgia Adams, which proved an excellent decision as the two put on 90 for the opening wicket, with Van Niekerk finishing unbeaten on 67.
- This will surely see van Niekerk opening the batting with Adams once again here, with Alice Capsey coming in at number four, whilst the Invicibles face an anxious wait to find out whether all-rounder Marizanne Kapp and fast bowler Shabnim Ismail will be available.
TRENT ROCKETS WOMEN
- Trent Rockets made it three wins in a row after emerging victorious over Welsh Fire by four wickets following an impressive team performance with the ball saw them bowl the Fire out for just 102.
