MONTREAL TIGERS FORM: CREATING A CANADIAN DYNASTY
Coached by Dav Whatmore, defending champions Montreal Tigers went through the league with one defeat as well as four victories and two no results. They have the top run scorer in the tournament with Dilpreet Bajwa having struck 206 so far. They just simply seem to have the most complete and all-round side.

BRAMPTON WOLVES FORM: NOMINAL HOSTS
The Brampton Wolves sort of play all of their games at home with the whole of the 2024 Global T20 Canada being held at the TD Cricket Arena in Brampton. They finished their league phase extremely well with three successive victories before their final game against Bangla Tigers Mississauga being left abandoned.

MONTREAL TIGERS BETTING ANALYSIS
As mentioned, the Monytreal Tigers do have the top run scorer in the tournament with Bajwa hitting 206 so far, aided by an unbeaten century mid-way through the league phase. He is, though, in what is the ‘clutch’ moment, still the man to back to be their best batter here.
Slow and turning pitches have been the order of the day in Brampton with surfaces suiting spinners. However, Azmatullah Omarzai has been the Tigers’ difference maker with the Afghan quick always a good shout to take two or more wickets in an innings.
BRAMPTON WOLVES BETTING ANALYSIS
Australian all-rounder Beau Webster has been the steady threat with both bat and ball for the Brampton Wolves and for him to be able to combine both skills on one night means he is always a good value bet for something long like a Player of the Match shout.
Specifically with the bat, Scottish international George Munsey has begun to come into some much better form of late and his unbeaten 46 from 35 balls last time out makes him the likeliest to be their top scorer again given the nick he is in.

The playoffs of any sport can be unpredictable after a long league phase but especially in T20 cricket, a format of an already volatile sport that increases the chances of an upset. That said, though, Montreal Tigers are defending champions and have, if anything, improved this year and they are the firm favourites for a victory and passage into the final of 2024 Global T20 Canada season.
