THE PREDICTION
Gloucestershire’s hopes of qualification took a huge blow with defeat at home to Kent Spitfires followed up by a loss away at Glamorgan. They have now lost their last three T20 Blast games and trail fourth-placed Hampshire Hawks by six points. James Vince’s side made a big statement this past weekend with the thrashing of Surrey at the Kia Oval. Playing at a ground like Bristol should suit the Hampshire bowlers down to the ground with their ability to take pace off the ball. It’s hard to see a brittle Gloucestershire batting unit being able to cope with such a quality outfire and Hampshire Hawks are well worth backing to triumph.

SURREY vs GLAMORGAN
THE PREDICTION
In one of the strange quirks of the T20 Blast, Glamorgan boasts an incredible record against Surrey at the Kia Oval and having beaten Gloucestershire this past weekend, the Welsh county will believe they can spring a surprise here. However, Surrey did paint themselves in the best light on Sunday, beaten heavily by Hampshire Hawks and you’d expect their batters not to fail for a second game running, particularly with the players and strength-in-depth at their disposal. With Colin Ingram also likely to be missing through injury, back Surrey to pick up the two points.

SUSSEX SHARKS vs KENT SPITFIRES
THE PREDICTION
Whilst it may prove too little too late for Kent Spitfires, Sam Billings’ men are just starting to put a run together that may see them make a late push for a top four spot in the South Group, winning their last three. Sussex Sharks themselves were victorious most recently against local rivals Hampshire Hawks, which would have given them a much-needed boost. But Kent are on a roll at present, combining potent bowling with sensible batting, aggressive when required but also controlled. This should see the Spitfires get the better of the Sharks at Hove.
