WARRINGTON WOLVES FORM: OUTSIDE CHANCE FOR THE WOLVES TO FINISH SECOND

The Wolves have an outside chance of finishing second but the likelihood is that they will be in the eliminator at home next week against the sixth-placed team. Their form has been good barring one loss to Leigh at the end of August as they have won five of their last six. Defensively they have looked impressive and Sam Burgess will be eager to maintain that intensity.

LAST FIVE: WWLWW

LONDON BRONCOS FORM: BRONCOS AIM TO AVOID FINISHING BOTTOM

They may have lost their last four matches but the Broncos are continuing to play hard and that has seen them improve their points difference and go ahead of Hull FC. That will be their aim here once again to stay close to Warrington even if they lose. Relegation remains unknown due to the license process in the Super League now but the Broncos will play hard and do their best here to sign the season off.

LAST FIVE: WLLLL

WARRINGTON WOLVES TEAM NEWS: KEY MAN DUFTY NAMED IN 21

Huge news for the Wire coming into this final match of regular season as star man Matt Dufty returns from a knee injury. That will give them a huge boost and while it is unlikely he will play too many minutes if he does indeed play, his name alone will give them a huge lift.

Stefa Ratchford is back after two months out also but Rodrick Tai and Lachlan Fitzgibbon are both out injured while Paul Vaughan is serving the final match of his suspension.

21-MAN SQUAD: Matty Ashton, John Bateman, Jordy Crowther, Ben Currie, Josh Drinkwater, Matt Dufty, James Harrison, Toby King, Arron Lindop, Zane Musgrove, Matty Nicholson, Joe Philbin, Sam Powell, Stefan Ratchford, Cai Taylor-Wray, Josh Thewlis, Danny Walker, Tom Whitehead, George Williams, Max Wood, Luke Yates

LONDON BRONCOS TEAM NEWS: JUST ONE CHANGE FOR MIKE ECCLES’ MEN

Head coach Mike Eccles has made just one change from the team that suffered a narrow loss to Catalans last week as hooker Sam Davis misses out with a calf problem. Dan Hoyes comes into the 21-man squad in what is the only change.

21-MAN SQUAD: Lee Kershaw, Jarred Bassett, Hakim Miloudi, Iliess Macani, Jack Campagnolo, James Meadows, Rob Butler, Lewis Bienek, Will Lovell, Ethan Natoli, Marcus Stock, Sadiq Adebiyi, Emmanuel Waine, Rhys Kennedy, Oli Leyland, Robbie Storey, Josh Rourke, Jensen Monk, Dan Hoyes, Jacob Jones, Ugo Tison

WARRINGTON WOLVES VS LONDON BRONCOS PREDICTION

This version of the Warrington Wolves under Sam Burgess is one that means business and even in a relatively meaningless game like this, they will continue to play hard. The same could be said for the London Broncos who are not leaving the Super League without a fight. Their pride will be firmly intact regardless of the result of this match but they will be eager to keep fighting and push the Wire all the way here. It is hard to make any case for them getting anything out of this match but the big question is whether the Broncos can stay within the 26-point handicap. Warrington will be keen to maintain their intensity but they are unlikely to risk injury so we would lean towards the Broncos keeping it within that handicap.

WARRINGTON WOLVES VS LONDON BRONCOS TIP: LONDON BRONCOS +26 POINTS
