ST. GEORGE ILLAWARRA DRAGONS VS GOLD COAST TITANS PREDICTION

St George were unable to build on their excellent win over NRL table-toppers Melbourne Storm two weeks ago with Shane Flanagan’s topsy-turvy side losing to the Bulldogs last time out – one of their chief rivals for a top-eight place.

After an excellent run of five wins from six games, Gold Coast Titans were sent crashing back down to earth with a chastening 44-0 defeat at the hands of the Sharks. It was an almost unrecognisable performance from the Titans, who had started to threaten a late run to the finals.

Both sides tasted defeat last week but the manner of the Titans’ loss was particularly alarming. A place in the finals looks beyond them now, while the Dragons are still very much in that race so a home victory looks on the cards for the more motivated side.
