USA FORM: SOUTH AFRICA AND WINDIES DEFEATS LEAVE THEM ON THE BRINK OF ELIMINATION

Unfortunately for USA, they were outclassed by West Indies in Bridgetown, falling to their heaviest loss of the tournament by nine wickets. Batting first upon losing the toss, United States were dismissed for just 128 batting first, before the Windies chasing their victory target down in just 10.5 overs for the loss of only Johnson Charles.

ENGLAND FORM: BACK IN MUST-WIN TERRITORY WITH JUST TWO ‘SUPER 8’ POINTS TO THEIR NAME

England found themselves on the wrong end of a ‘Super 8s’ thriller against South Africa, losing by 7 runs after failing to chase down 164. Despite the best efforts of Harry Brook, England couldn’t never really get themselves ahead of the game across their run chase and a brilliant final three overs from the Proteas closed things out.

USA BETTING ANALYSIS

We recommended investment in Aaron Jones’ six-hitting abilities in our preview of USA’s game against West Indies and he did not let us down, scoring the over 0.5 match sixes need for a successful bet. The same play is well worth backing this time around with Jones having now recorded 14 maximums across the tournament so far. Also consider backing Jones to hit the most sixes of this USA team here via the ‘Player to Score Most 6s - Team’ market.

On the back of an impressive unbeaten 80 against South Africa, opener and wicketkeeper Andries Gous followed that knock out with 29 vs West Indies, top-scoring for his nation on consecutive occasions. With form in his favour, bettors could opt to explore a potential stake on Gous to maintain his hot streak, with good value in him to score 20+ runs.

ENGLAND BETTING ANALYSIS

Jofra Archer continues to prove England’s clear point of difference with the ball, as the right arm fast bowler picked up another three scalps against the Proteas. Archer now boasts nine wickets over the course of the competition so far and is likely to play a key role again here in Barbados. Back Archer not only to take over 1.5 match wickets vs USA, but also to finish as England’s top bowler.

Harry Brook has impressed in recent appearances with the bat, racking up exactly 100 runs across his last two innings. Back him to maintain that form via the ‘Batter Match Runs’ market, specifically scoring over 23.5 runs. Whilst Phil Salt failed against South Africa, he is also a quality operator and warrants investment via the ‘Batter Milestones’ market to hit 30+ runs.

USA VS ENGLAND EXPERT PREDICTION

When England have found themselves up in a corner and staring elimination from this tournament in the face, they’ve always managed to fight back and ultimately save themselves. They are in a similar situation here, but once again it would be no surprise if Jos Buttler’s side came out punching at the Kensington Oval.

Of course, USA won’t fear England and why would they, having already beaten the side who England defeated in the final of the last ICC T20 World Cup. But England won’t underestimate USA and have already been ruthlessly in dispatching the likes of Oman and Namibia earlier in the competition. Expect them to do the same again here.

USA VS ENGLAND TOP TIP: ENGLAND TO WIN
