NAMIBIA FORM: WIESE SUPER OVER HERO WITH BAT AND BALL
Namibia’s low-scoring thriller against Oman ended in a tie, but the resulting ‘Super Over’ saw David Wiese take charge, the all-rounder plundering 13 of Namibia’s 21 runs before conceding just ten runs with the ball, plus a wicket to drag Namibia over the line and get their first points of the tournament on the board.

SCOTLAND FORM: RAIN-INTERRUPTED PREPERATION LEAVES SCOTLAND POTENTIALLY UNDERCOOKED
Scotland will have been really disappointed at rain denying them a real opportunity to potential cause a huge upset over England, after a rain-interrupted game was finally called off with Scotland having reached 90/0 from ten overs, setting England 109 to win from their allocated ten before a terminal shower curtailed the contest, marking their third abandoned fixture in the last five scheduled.

NAMIBIA BETTING ANALYSIS
When assessing this Namibian side, two players immediate stand out when it comes to potential investment from a betting point of view. One of those is David Wiese, his all-round skills and experience being so crucial to Namibia. He balances the side perfectly with his power-hitting down the order and skiddy right-arm pace with the ball.
Multiple markets appeal when it comes to backing Wiese, with value to be had via the ‘Team Top Bowler’ market and the ‘Player to Score Most Match Sixes’ market, Wiese available on that one for those considering a low stake, high return bet.
The other player that draws attention is left-arm pace bowler Ruben Trumpelmann, who took out Oman’s entire top three, including wickets with the first two balls of the game on his way to figures of 4/21 from four overs. Such potency cannot be ignored and the ‘Team Top Bowler’ market could also come into play for Trumpelmann, as well as backing him to accumulate 2+ wickets.
SCOTLAND BETTING ANALYSIS
Scotland opted for Michael Clark to open the batting with George Munsey against England and his 45 from 30 balls as part of a 90-run unbroken partnership should see him retain his place here. Trumpelmann poses a big challenge for both Clark and Munsey, but they each showed early on against the likes of Mark Wood and Jofra Archer that they’ll take it on in the powerplay.
With that in mind, consider small stakes on both to score over 2.5 match fours as covering the two offers extra insurance should either be dismissed early on. Munsey though in particular is notorious for his fearless and attempts to clear the boundary and an extra play on him to hit over 0.5 match sixes warrants consideration.
NAMIBIA VS SCOTLAND EXPERT PREDICTION
Scotland won’t have forgotten their ICC T20 World Cup defeat to Namibia back in 2021 and would leave to gain revenge in this edition. Their showing against England gives Scottish supporters reason to be confident of victory but Namibia are a streetwise and hugely underrated outfit with proven match winners among their side capable of hurting the Scots.
One such match winner is Ruben Trumpelmann. His left-arm swing offers a huge point of difference and as we noted in the betting analysis of Namibia, he boasts previous success in this tournament against Scotland. When it comes to early scalps, Trumpelmann’s reliability cannot be faulted as shown vs Oman and he has to be favoured to continue his wicket-taking exploits at the same venue.
