THE PREDICTION
This is the third match in Sharjah and both games so far have contained over 416 runs in each game and all four innings have contained over 200 runs as batting line-ups are making the most of the small venue. This could very well come down to which batting line-up hits their stride quickest and it will be interesting to see how each team approach this. KKR have the better power hitters but the Capitals’ bowling attack is certainly stronger. Teams batting first have enjoyed far greater success in the tournament so far but the Royals chased down Kings XI’s 223/2 in the last game in Sharjah and the team batting first have to bat with urgency from the very start. KKR have yet to really hit their stride and the Capitals are marginally favoured to edge a game that could easily go either way if one batsman clicks into gear.
