West Indies’ batters once again fired nicely despite nobody going on to score over 50 in the second T20i, but a team effort got them up to 179/6 before the bowlers took over. Under pressure, the Windies bowled brilliantly, consistently taking wickets and eventually securing a 30-run win after bowling their opponents out for 149.

SOUTH AFRICA FORM: THREE DEFEATS IN A ROW FOR STRUGGLING PROTEAS IN T20 CRICKET
At 129/3 after 13.4 overs chasing 180, South Africa would’ve felt confident about chasing down a high score. However, a total collapse from then on in saw them lose their remaining seven wickets for just 20 runs in a really poor display of batting. Their loss in the second T20i was their third straight in this format.

Opening the batting, Shai Hope has stood out for the hosts across this series so far. He backed up his 51 in the first T20i, with 41 on Sunday, top-scoring for West Indies. Such form cannot be ignored by bettors and a stake on Hope both to finish as West Indies top batter and to score 20+ runs in this final encounter should be seriously considered.
SOUTH AFRICA BETTING ANALYSIS
In what has been a tough series for South Africa, Tristan Stubbs has at least maintained some consistency, racking up 104 runs across both matches played. Accumulating over 19.5 match runs on each occasion, back Stubbs to achieve that feat for the third time in a row here via the ‘Batter Match Runs’ market.

With the series now decided, you could forgive the South Africa players for having their eyes on their respective assignments moving forward beyond these matches.
