SRI LANKA BETTING ANALYSIS

It’s always exciting when fast bowler Matheesha Pathirana is in the game and the young pacer was in-among the wickets last time out. Having struggled with injuries at times across his career, Pathirana, who boasts a ‘slinger-like’ bowling action similar to that of Sri Lankan white-ball legend Lasith Malinga always causes batters nightmares with his wicket changes of pace and on the back of two wickets in the opening game, Pathirana is well worth investment to accumulate over 1.5 match wickets again on this occasion.

WEST INDIES BETTING ANALYSIS

Although he was inconsistent over the course of the recently concluded Caribbean Premier League, Evin Lewis did offer a reminder of his prowess at the top of the order, smashing an unbeaten century for St Kitts and Nevis Patriots. Opening the batting here for the West Indies, Lewis struck 50 from 28 balls, including five 4s and four 6s. Such a knock will have given him huge confidence with this is being a big series for him individually. Consider backing Lewis to follow this up with another solid score of 20+ runs.

SRI LANKA VS WEST INDIES EXPERT PREDICTION

Whilst West Indies boasts the power, Sri Lanka has the bowling attack capable of putting together a strong response in a bid to level this series. At home, they always pose a threat even when having been setback and after having faced the Windies batters once in Dambulla, Sri Lanka’s bowlers will be in an even better position to set the right plans and traps for them. With that in mind, it’s worth backing a home victory in this second game of the series.
