ENGLAND FORM: HOST FINALLY 50-OVER WINNERS AT FOURTH ATTEMPT

Following a poor run of results in the 50-over format, England were finally on the winning end of a game on Tuesday, beating Australia via the DLS method after rain curtailed the third ODI with the home side well on the way to chasing down 305 to win.

AUSTRALIA FORM: BOWLERS WITH NO ANSWER TO JACKS AND BROOK

Australia’s 14-match winning streak in ODI cricket finally came to an end on Tuesday after their bowlers came unstuck against Will Jacks and Harry Brook. Everything Australia threw at them was dealt with

ENGLAND BETTING ANALYSIS

Harry Brook has taken criticism across the series for his words as stand-in captain, but his quality with the bat cannot be questioned. A magnificent unbeaten 110 laid down the foundations for England’s victory and it was a real coming-of-age innings in 50-over-cricket. It would be no surprise to see him back that up with another quality knock here, so back Brook to record 30+ match runs via the ‘Batter Milestones’ market.

AUSTRALIA BETTING ANALYSIS

It’s now five wickets across two games for Mitchell Starc after the left-arm pacer missed the first ODI due to illness. His natural ability to take wickets will once again be key for the Australians if they are to come out on top at Lord’s. After having picked up over 1.5 match wickets in each of his last two appearances across this series, backing him to do the same again on this occasion has to be favoured.

ENGLAND VS AUSTRALIA EXPERT PREDICTION

The weather makes the result a tough one to predict here and whoever wins the toss is likely to be at a huge advantage with DLS potential coming into play for the second straight games. What has been noted though are England’s struggles at the very top of the order. Opener Phil Salt has scored just 29 runs across the series so far, failing to reach the 20-run-mark in all three of his innings played as it stands. With that in mind, back him to accumulate under 24.5 match runs in this latest encounter.

ENGLAND VS AUSTRALIA TIP: PHIL SALT TO SCORE UNDER 24.5 MATCH RUNS
