PUNJAB KINGS
- Punjab Kings got the better of Kolkata Knight Riders at the weekend to record their first points of the 2023 IPL, but this will prove a tougher assignment in what is their first away match.
- A fast-bowling attack of Arshdeep Singh, Nathan Ellis and Sam Curran will cause plenty of problems across this IPL season for Punjab’s opponents, and they are only set to improve with the arrival of South African pace Kagiso Rabada.
THE PREDICTION
The Punjab Kings bowling attack should represent a significantly stronger challenge for the Rajasthan top order compared to that of Sunrisers Hyderabad, but it would be remiss not to also highlight the home team’s weapons with the ball, specifically Trent Boult, whose left-arm pace will serve as a huge threat to Punjab Kings inside the powerplay. Expect a close contest here between two sides full of confidence.
