THE PREDICTION

Trinbago Knight Riders were beaten in the final of the men’s 6ixty vs St Kitts and Nevis Patriots, but their first CPL game of the season against St Lucia Kings gives them a great opportunity to bounce back. The Knight Riders are captained by the vastly experience Kieron Pollard and boast somewhat of a super team with the likes of Andre Russell, Sunil Narine and current West Indies white ball captain Nicholas Pooran among their squad. However, Pollard will be critical in ensuring his side functions as an all-round unit rather than just a team of individuals. St Lucia Kings failed to reach the knockout stage of the men’s 6ixty, but have finished runners-up in each of their last two CPL campaigns. However, they will not be at full-strength for this match with captain Faf du Plessis and the big-hitting Tim David both finishing up their Hundred commitments in the UK. This is likely to have adverse effect from their point of view and makes backing a Trinbago Knight Riders victory the sensible move in this one.
