THE PREDICTION
St Lucia Kings are on a roll having won their last three CPL games and are coming into this match on the back of successive victories over league leaders St Kitts and Nevis Patriots. Guyana Amazon Warriors meanwhile, were beaten comfortably last time out by Barbados Royals with the Guyana batting losing wickets at regular intervals chasing a target of 186 and ultimately losing by 45 runs.
The recent form of the Kings has been excellent with their bowling in particular having shone. Alzarri Joseph and Pakistan overseas player Wahab Riaz have used their pace to good effect whilst spin-bowlers Jeavor Royal and Samit Patel can not only strangle the run rate, but also take crucial wickets as they showed in their most recently victory, picking up five scalps between them. Combine that with the explosive firepower of the in-form Roston Chase, alongside South African opener Faf du Plessis and St Lucia Kings have all bases seemingly covered. High on momentum and full of confidence, back the Kings to triumph in this one.
