• Hobart Hurricanes were able to build on their eye-catching success against Melbourne Stars by seeing off Adelaide Strikers in impressive fashion to make it back-to-back victories in the BBL.
• Chasing 176 to win, the Hurricanes achieved that feat with nine balls to spare with that being largely thanks to the efforts of Ben McDermott who whacked an incredible 110 not out from just 60 deliveries.

Melbourne Renegades’ lack of quality in their squad is really starting to tell having lost for a fourth game in succession last time out.
