THE PREDICTION
Sindh have proven themselves among the better performers in the National T20 Cup, but Central Punjab will provide a stern test. The inconsistency of Babar Azam’s side has proven their kryptonite so far, although the captain will have been desperately disappointed to find himself on the losing side last time out after scoring an unbeaten 105 against Northern, leading his team to a score of 200/2 after 20 overs only for it to be chased down with two balls to spare. However, their reaction to defeat against Khyber Pakhtunkhwa was positive as they beat Balochistan the very next day and a similar response to that loss over Northern looks on the cards against Sindh. In what should be a close encounter, the extra experience of this Central Punjab unit both with bat and bowl may just end up being the difference here and lead Central Punjab to a vital win.
