Cortavious Romious vs Lee Chang-ho Prediction

It is the bantamweights up next on the main card at UFC on ESPN 65 as Cortavious Romious takes on Lee Chang-ho at The Apex.

There was some drama at the weigh-ins on Friday as Cortavious Romious missed weight by a staggering 3.5lbs but rather than the fight being cancelled, Romious loses 20% of his purse for this fight.

He's coming off a loss on his UFC debut at UFC Fight Night 247 in November 2024 as he saw a unanimous decision go to Gaston Bolanos. He will be looking to get his first win under his belt here but after missing weight by such a large amount, it will be interesting to see what condition he comes in.

He comes up against Korea’s Lee Chang-Ho who grabbed a split decision win last time out against Long Xiao and he has now won his last four fights. He has a 10-1 record a three of his last four wins have come by TKO.

The potential weight difference between the two fighters is something of a concern as Romious will look to control this fight with his wrestling. The 30-year-old Korean should be able to keep him at range however and we like his chances of outworking Romious and getting a decision victory.

Prediction: Lee Chang-ho to win by decision
