Corentin Moutet will be aiming to break new ground when he meets qualifier Harold Mayot in Madrid.

The world number 82 has drifted in the rankings of late but can start to move back in the right direction with a first ever main draw success in the Spanish capital. 

Harold Mayot is the man hoping Moutet doesn’t make it third time lucky at the tournament after coming through qualifying.

The 23-year-old underdog has lost all three of his tour-level matches this season and has been most at home on the Challenger circuit.
