Comoros vs Mali Prediction
The Comoros national team qualified for their first ever 2021 CAF Africa Cup of Nations in 2022 and reached the Round of 16 but they remain one of the weaker sides on the African continent as they now take on a Mali side that have the potential to be very strong given their pedigree.
Comoros sit at the top of Group I, above Ghana on goal difference. They also qualified for the 2025 CAF Africa Cup of Nations with an impressive qualifying campaign against the likes of Gambia, Madagascar and Tunisia in the autumn. They have suffered just one defeat in 15 matches outside of the COSAFA Cup and African Nations Championship.
They now face a Malian side that lost manager Eric Chelle to Nigeria at the start of this year, replacing him with former Togo, Trinidad and Tobago, Bangladesh, Malta, Gambia and Philippines coach Tom Sainfiet. With an impressive defence and midfield, as well as some exciting attackers, they have been very frustrating to watch.
Mali are lacking cohesion across the pitch and Comoros, given their form and just how difficult they are to beat, siding with Comoros for this one would appear the way to go.
Comoros vs Mali Tip: Double chance – Comoros to win or draw
