Coco Gauff vs Xinyu Gao Prediction

Coco Gauff has won all four matches that she has played so far in the United Cup and the American superstar will be looking to keep this run going as they now face China in the quarter-finals.

Gauff comfortably beat Donna Vekic in the last group game on Tuesday and now she faces Chinese 27-year-old Zinyu Gao. The pair have never met before but Gauff will fancy her chances against the world number 175.

Zinyu Gao will have some confidence coming into this one however. She has beaten Brazil’s Beatriz Haddad Maia and Germany’s Laura Siegemund both in three sets – two players ranked much higher than her. 

Gauff is a different proposition however and the world number three is looking pretty unstoppable right now. It is hard to see her dropping a set and back her to win 2-0.
