Coco Gauff vs Donna Vekic Prediction

Coco Gauff started the new season in impressive form as she beat Leylah Fernandez in the singles and then partnered Taylor Fritz to a mixed doubles’ victory to get the Americans off to a winning start. Their win over Canada was impressive and Gauff was key to that so she will be hoping to repeat that here.

She meets Croatia’s Donna Vekic in the singles and they have met once before. That came in the Paris Olympics last summer and it was Vekic who won that match 7-6 6-2. 

Vekic lost her opening match against Leylah Fernandez as Canada beat Croatia 2-1. She will have to significantly raise her game if she is to have any chance of beating Gauff.

The American ended 2024 in fine form and has started the new season in just as impressive style. we fully expect Gauff to ease to a straight-sets win here.
